The new model is the successor to the Zonda R from 2009, a stripped-out and hopped-up version of the Zonda. The new R Evo will continue in the R’s footsteps, but Pagani engineers were able to extract 10 more horsepower from the new model, which now makes 750 hp.
The Zonda R Evo is expected to get from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 2.7 seconds, a blisteringly fast time that should make it a tenth of two faster than the Zonda R. The new car’s top speed is rumored to be 218 mph.
