2014 Corvette C7 Prototypes Pictured and Filmed in New Mexico [Video]

One of the most sought after prototype vehicles of the year has been photographed and filmed, not by professional spy shooters, but by a reader and a YouTube user respectively, both in the same place in Red River, a resort town in Taos County, New Mexico, over the weekend. The photos come to us courtesy of a Jalopnik reader who spotted a large fleet of General Motors' sports cars consisting of five Camaro ZL1s, all current versions of the Corvette C6 including the base model, the Z06 and the flagship ZR1, plus eight covered models that are believed to be prototypes of the next Corvette C7. Japanese Automakers Urge Government to Implement Measures to Counter Strong Yen

Last Thursday, the yen hit a seven-month high against the U.S. dollar. That wouldn’t be so bad if the country’s currency hadn’t strengthened so much, from under 120 yen per dollar five years ago to less than 78 at the end of last week.As a result, exports have become more expensive, thus limiting profits.
